"One of the ten best young adult books arriving in 2022"

Seventeen Magazine

Together for Public Schools is proud to present the first in our Speaker Series: An Afternoon with Brian Zepka.

Brian, a West Chester native, is the author of The Temperature of Me and You, a critically acclaimed new Young Adult Novel about first love and the lengths we’ll go to figure out our hearts.

Brian’s book was recently included in an anti-LGBTQ+ flyer circulated within WCASD suggesting that it, along with a list of more than 80 other books, should be banned from our libraries. Brian was motivated to speak at our School Board meeting to defend his literary work and to stress the importance of LGBTQ+ representation in the media and literary world.

We are honored to have him join us to share more about his experience and his success as an author.

If you would like Brian to sign a copy of your book, please purchase it in advance and bring it to the event. Brian will sign books as time allows. Books can be purchased here: https://amzn.to/3y2ensZ  or here: https://bit.ly/3vLXu6E.

There will be no book sales during the event.
